Cross Hills and Aire Valley

Cross Hills is a popular semi rural village conveniently situated in the Aire Valley mid way between Keighley and the historic market town of Skipton, with neighbouring Glusburn reportedly dating back as early as the 8th century.

Cross Hills and the surrounding communities are well recognised for providing a choice of excellent schools for children of all ages and the area is consequently considered to be a highly desirable place to bring up a family and also a lovely semi rural location to retire to.  The Airedale train line between Skipton and Leeds also provides excellent network links for those looking to commute to some of the larger business centres in the North.

Other local amenities include a Co-Operative store, a health centre, many independent retailers and restaurants, a variety of dog friendly pubs with open fires and the highly acclaimed South Craven Secondary School; the whole being surrounded by open fields and countryside with a host of popular rural walks virtually on the doorstep.

All of the team at Wilman & Wilman were born and live locally and are very knowledgeable and passionate about the surrounding areas.  Please contact the office if you have any questions at all as we would be delighted to help.
